With Apple’s upgrade to iCloud and the death of their MobileMe service, I had to find a new hosting site for my blog. I had previously used iWeb to make my blog/website and hosted it on MobileMe. Even though I thought iWeb was actually very cumbersome and not all that user friendly, I used it because it was free and was a suggestion by a friend. It took me so long to write a post, organize, arrange, add pictures, etc., that I stopped posting because I didn’t want to go through the hassle. I could also only post from my home computer, as that is where my iWeb was. There was no way to post externally. Now with MobileMe going away, I needed to fine a new host. I could have just gone to Blogger or WordPress, but I always have to make my life more difficult then it needs to be 😉 I found a new site for my blog and hosting. It was actually fairly easy to set up, which was really nice. I’m in the process of bringing in all my older posts. Good thing I didn’t have too many!
So now with the ease of posting to this new site from practically anywhere (by internet, by email, phone app), I have re-energized my writing and plan on keeping it up. Stay tuned!
